Hairy Art

I recently came across this weirdly fascinating article online on the use of hair in art.

Some of us may think that hair is solely there to keep your head warm but after this you will think completely differently. Hair is very much a symbol of status whether in religon or simply as a fashion statement. However in this case artists have taken the beauty of hair to another level through.

Bill Fink creates ‘Time and Matter’ photographs of his subjects completely from their own hair.

Adam Parker Smith is a solo exhbitionist who in this piece has used synthetic hair.

Nagi Noda creates animalistic hair hats as well as other (slightly scary) pieces.
