When you've got a theme like 'Punk: Chaos to Couture' to work with, you know you're going to have a lot of fun!
We went with a really fun, strong Punk look that contrasts with Anne's delicate structure perfectly! To enhance her Punk look further we decided to take her hair to the next level: A new cool Platinum blonde colour and the sharp slightly boyish finish with loads of texture were the perfect match.
Drawing inspiration from unforgettable punk icons like Poly Styrene from X-ray Spex and Joan Jett, I decided to go for a look that's glam, edgy and yet very youthful and fun. We kept the style much shorter for Anne and had a lot of fun playing around with it.
If you want to recreate this look start by applying a golfball amount of Wella Professionals Styling Extra Volume mousse to damp hair and distribute evenly. This is the perfect start up product and will give your hair the foundation, hold & volume you want.
Then blow dry the hair into shape: ideally you should do this by using your fingers or a skeleton / fishbone brush.
Dry the longer hair on top back & upwards by gently pulling the hair away from the scalp to boost the volume and some lift to it.
Push, brush & dry the sides flat to the head backwards allowing them to set narrow to the head.
Once the hair is completely dry use a small amount of Wella Professionals Styling Bold Move styling paste. Spread the paste evenly between the palm of your hands and work the product through the mid length and ends to create a deep, slightly messy texture and really bring out the wanted break and disconnection between to long volumous top and the narrow sides and back.
Once you are happy with the overall shape, mist your hair with some Wella Professionals Styling Stay Firm Finishing Spray, this will ensure that your style will last all night.
Have fun recreating this look!
